It weighs about 6 pounds unloaded…feels light and fast….the bottom plate on the grip/ shell lifter / jumbo safety / trigger / bolt n bolt handle / mag cap and bolt release button all have execptional polished deep blued smooth finish…have not had an opportunity to try it out yet….the scope base is attached mechanically to the barrel, no screws….the action feels smooth and the release and lockup feels tight…i can see gas ports on the bottom of the barrel and a piston assembly under the handguard…so assuming gas cycle…..the only flaws so far is it didnt come with an owners manual, but i half expected that…this gun is out of production i believe…and …..the plastic hollow stock….i’ve packed in some dense foam for now and that is better….seems like a fantastic deal…can’t wait to giver a go…thanks for the service and the deal westrifle…cheers………..
